Arabella Scarman. ADHD UK Ambassador
Learning you have ADHD in your 50’s is a pretty profound experience.
I’ve always known I was different and that my brain worked differently. Learning this late meant that I didn’t understand myself fully and therefore I couldn’t tap into both the benefits of having the disorder but neither could I support myself to deal with some of the real challenges that comes with ADHD.
I’m now committed to raising awareness, especially in the corporate world, where understanding and support for neurodiversity are often lacking. My passion lies in advocating for change and ensuring that individuals of all ages receive the necessary support to thrive both professionally and personally.
By sharing my experience, I hope to contribute to a more inclusive environment that recognises and values neurodivergent perspectives, ultimately benefiting both individuals and organisations.
