Adil Bhaloda. ADHD UK Ambassador

Hi, I’m Adil. I decided to become an ambassador for ADHD UK in the hope of spreading awareness and reducing stigma. As a clinician working within the ADHD field, I decided to become an ambassador for ADHD UK with the aim of raising awareness, reducing stigma, and fostering a greater understanding of ADHD. As a clinician working within the ADHD field, I have witnessed firsthand the diverse ways in which ADHD can present and the significant impact it can have on individuals’ lives. My goal is to empower people to better understand and embrace their ADHD, support them in managing their unique challenges, and help them thrive.

I believe that becoming an ambassador will allow me to build stronger connections within the community, create safe spaces for shared experiences, and contribute to shifting the wider narrative around ADHD, from one of deficit to one of difference and strength.

My journey in ADHD began several years ago, when I entered the field with little prior knowledge but a willingness to learn. Since then, I’ve fully immersed myself in this specialist area, and I have never looked back. Each day, I have the privilege of supporting individuals as they come to better understand themselves, often for the first time. Seeing the positive changes this brings to their lives is incredibly fulfilling, both professionally and personally.

As an ADHD UK ambassador, I hope to further contribute to building a more informed, inclusive, and supportive society for everyone affected by ADHD.
