Natalie Wigzell. ADHD UK Ambassador
Hi, my name is Natalie Wigzell. I was late-diagnosed with combined ADHD and am currently awaiting an autism assessment. I’m also a parent to two autistic children, and our family’s lived experience is what drives everything I do.
Navigating diagnosis, education, work and everyday life has shown me how isolating it can be when support is delayed, misunderstood or simply not there. That experience led me to co-found NeuroRelate, a not-for-profit social enterprise providing lived-experience support, advocacy, community groups and neurodiversity awareness across Hertfordshire and beyond.
Through NeuroRelate, I support individuals and families who are waiting for assessment, newly diagnosed, or struggling to access the right help. I’m passionate about creating spaces where neurodivergent people feel understood, believed and empowered — not fixed or judged. I also work with organisations, sports clubs and businesses to improve understanding and inclusion through practical, real-world training.
As someone with lived experience both personally and as a parent, I use my voice to raise awareness, reduce stigma and advocate for better systems of support. I believe change happens when real stories are heard, and I’m committed to helping build a more inclusive and compassionate society for neurodivergent people.
