Nicole Walsh Our anti-discrimination legal framework in Australia has an important role to play in providing avenues of redress, and protections against discrimination experienced by our neurodivergent community. However, the legal process is often slow, complex, scary, and is anything but user friendly. We need to work together to ensure employees with disabilities are not put in situations where they see the only option to protect and enforce their rights in the workplace is to make a legal complaint. We can, and must, do better. |
