Musician Pete Doherty mentioned he believes he could have ADHD and recently underwent tests for it. Pete described how his anger in younger years could be linked to ADHD, mentioning his wife’s books on dealing with ADHD in marriage. He noted the changing perceptions of mental health conditions, remarking, “They used to call it personality; now they’ve got all sorts of names for it.” ADHD entails differences in brain activity, leading to symptoms like impulsivity, hyperactivity, and challenges with focus and organization. Pete’s remarks reflect self-awareness and openness about the possibility of having ADHD and its effects on his behavior and relationships.
