The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has recommended that the QbTest — a quick computer-based assessment that measures inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity — be used alongside standard clinical evaluations to help diagnose ADHD in children and young people aged 6–17 across the NHS. He noted that the new technology could help specialists work more efficiently while broader investment in services remains essential.
