Adam Collin. ADHD UK Ambassador
Hi, I’m Adam Collin, and I was diagnosed with ADHD aged 30 and it was like I’d suddenly been given all the answers to a load of questions about my life after 30 years of not being able to work them out myself.
I’d had a long journey of misdiagnosis and misunderstandings and I hate that this is a common story for neurodivergent people
Finding out I had ADHD also started me on the path to finding out that I also have autism. Now that I have the answers I’m also able to access support that I needed all along but never knew the right way to ask for.
I am an ADHD ambassador because I want to raise awareness for Neurodiversity and Neuroinclusion. I want to see the stigma around these differences and difficulty in accessing support disappear completely.
