Harry Glover. ADHD UK Ambassador
Hi, my name is Harry, and I work as a Greenkeeper. Growing up, I struggled at school without understanding why things felt so different for me. It wasn’t until I was 28 that I received an ADHD diagnosis—a journey that took two long years—but one that ultimately gave me a new lease on life.
My diagnosis was a turning point. It not only explained my past challenges but also inspired me to pursue further education through my work. Experiencing firsthand the delays and difficulties in getting a proper diagnosis, I’ve become passionate about raising awareness of ADHD and challenging the stigma that surrounds it. I strongly believe that everyone who needs a diagnosis should have prompt access to support, and I want to encourage anyone facing similar challenges to seek the help they need.
As an ADHD UK Ambassador, I’m committed to sharing my story and advocating for change. I want to help ensure that others don’t face the same long waiting times and misunderstandings that I did. By working together with ADHD UK, I hope to create a more informed, supportive, and inclusive community for everyone living with ADHD.
