In an interview, she shared that during her childhood, she experienced significant social anxiety and had difficulty communicating, which she now understands were related to neurodivergence. Wood mentioned that professionals have suggested she undergo a full autism assessment, as they believe autism might be the primary condition, with ADHD resulting from masking behaviors. She also discussed past struggles with an eating disorder and feelings of vulnerability during intimate scenes early in her career.
