I am using ChatGPT to build my own personal ADHD operating model for dealing with tasks, reminder, calendars, emails. It allows all of my devices to work together/sync, gives me a morning briefing about tasks I have to do that day, and prioritises them, along with helping me with my daily routine, ensuring I don’t forget important things (tasks/items/anything I have told it to remember). Risks/assumptions/blockers/issues/dependencies are all captured, including design decisions of the model, future-proofing as best as possible the architecture, and allowing integration with other apps to make a fairly seamless PA right in my pocket/on my wrist. And it is totally free.

I actually found this really helpful. It was more reassurance that I needed so a quick e-conversation with a robot was perfect! I think as starting to spin but I’m settling down now.

Excellent development, especially when you've bored the last available human or if you like to think laterally and ask questions around any topic with an open mind. Be careful though, it can sound convincing if giving opinion yet is not always right - just like people of course. It can spit out a lot of information and do that all day, so be prepared to recognise if you are experiencing overwhelm. On that note it will also often ask if you'd like to know more after it's given an answer - if the answer begins to stray from your original topic & you are easily distracted and inquisitive, it can knock you off course. Don't let the risks put you off trying it though, just use it consciously.

• Summarising Information: ChatGPT is great for breaking down complex information into ADHD-usable formats.
• Producing Actions: It can help create clear, actionable steps to stay organised.
• Ease of Use: Available anytime, offering quick support when needed.
• Proceed with Caution: ChatGPT does not have a conscious mind and therefore cannot connect with what’s actually going on.
• Seek Support: If feeling overwhelmed, speak to a supportive person, including trained specialist coaches, for confidentiality.

Chat GPT is definitely helpful, especially when I have brain fog or feel overwhelmed

Might help to cement your thoughts but the real strength of a human ADHD coach is understanding and empathy - having someone to share your thinking with who has ADHD and fully understands how it impacts life.

Great as a first stage helper. Can't do it all but does a great first crack that you can then amend.
