NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB reported via forwarded FOI that it commissions adult ADHD assessments and commissions child ADHD assessments. Data shows 58 adult assessments in 2024-25, with 3936 adults waiting (effective wait: 67.9 years), 2473 children waiting, 85 adult assessments in 2023-24, 2466 adults waiting (effective wait: 29 years). Right to Choose was used for adult and child ADHD assessments.

- Jun 2026 NHS Norfolk and Suffolk ICB (adults) · SourceNHS Norfolk and Suffolk ICB told us via FOI (0053, dated 02/06/2026) that it does not hold adult ADHD waiting or assessment data: adult pathways are "primarily managed through primary care" and the newly formed ICB (established 1 April 2026 from the Norfolk & Waveney and Suffolk & North East Essex merger) is transitioning its data collection. Pathway: GP screening tool -> Right to Choose provider selection -> assessment -> treatment/titration -> shared care. IAPs ARE in place for adult RtC providers but details were REFUSED under s.43(2) FOIA - the ICB says the service is under review and it "may be in a position to disclose the information" once provider discussions complete. Data redirect: Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
