NHS Black Country ICB told us via FOI (ref 1883, dated 19 June 2026) that it holds a block contract with its NHS providers (lead provider for mental health & learning disability: Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) and does not hold adult ADHD waiting-time or assessment data. It does not contract waiting-time reporting from Right to Choose providers (RtC providers report directly). The only figure given was all-age ADHD activity of 2,340 in 2025/26 (not segregated by adult/child). Provider-level waits are being sought separately from Black Country Healthcare NHS FT. A growing number of NHS areas are putting in place restrictions on individuals' ability to have an ADHD Assessment. Despite individuals having a referral from an NHS GP showing medical need.
